Periods 1 and 3:
Final draft of monologue/ending rewrite assignment is due Thursday.
We will be transitioning to Romeo and Juliet with reading of sonnets and the opening scene, with a look at acting and the language of Shakespeare's time.
Period 5:
Chapters 40-42 due Tuesday. We will be reading chapter 43 (chapter the Last) in class. Checking study guide and pop quizzes still continue. We will be preparing for our final essay on the novel, on the topic of Twain's ending and why he chose to finish the book in this manner.
