Week of 2/29 through 3/4

Periods 1 and 3:

Romeo and Juliet group project lessons begin Tuesday March 1. After this, students will grade the class responses and complete the reflection on their peer teaching assignment.

Productions begin Monday March 7.

Period 5:

We will continue our study of Romeo and Juliet with Act 2 scenes 3-4 due Tuesday. Act 2 scenes 5-6 are due Thursday. Act 3 scene 1 will be studied starting Thursday and going into Friday.

Study guide for Act 2 is due Thursday.

Period 6:

Students will begin work towards their Cause/Effect essay research and annotated bibliographies. Once this has begun and students are confident in their chosen topics, we will watch the documentary Freakonomics and practice research technique/questions in another project.

Annotated bibliography is due on Thursday 3/10.



Period 7:

Students will complete an MLA Webquest to learn how to cite using MLA standards. After this, students will complete a research project using the documentary Happy.

Research project findings for documentary will be due end of class Thursday along with the MLA Webquest.
