Bring in essays to peer edit/review on Monday. Final draft of second essay due Wednesday. Reading "Sonny's Blues" in class Wednesday, finish reading for Thursday. Reading "Marigolds" and discussing Friday.

Art project for "The Yellow Wallpaper" is due Wednesday 10/5.

Grammar quiz Tuesday (remember to study!)

Tuesday: Questions for pages 76-87 and Questions for "Beautiful & Cruel," "A Smart Cookie," and "What Sally Said" are due to be reviewed and collected.

At this point you  need to have finished the book and taken notes on the remaining chapters (theme/conflict) for your essay.

Beginning side of essay planning sheet due Wednesday.

Wednesday: Begin working on essay assignment for The House on Mango Street.
