Week of 10/24 through 10/28

Period 1:

We will be working on your final essay of the marking period in the room 107 computer lab.

Final draft due Tuesday 11/1.



Period 3:

We will begin our unit on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Discussion activities will lead to us starting the book. Study guide will be provided for note taking and graded progress in reading. Chapter questions will be due with the reading due date.



Period 5:

Rough draft of Comparison/Contrast essay due. Peer editing in class. Peer review Thursday, computer lab time for revision Tuesday.

Final draft due Friday.



Period 6:

Reviewing sample essays and preparing an outline for your comparison/contrast essays. Computer lab time in room 107 lab Tuesday and Thursday.

Rough draft due Friday.



Period 7:

We will be working on your final essay of the marking period in the Media Center computer lab Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Final draft due Tuesday 11/1.

We will continue our transition to The Scarlet Letter on Friday with discussion and notes on Romanticism.
