Period 1:
We will be watching the movie for The Great Gatsby. In the meantime, begin planning and preparing your final exam as homework. Use this time wisely.
At the end of the week we will be moving into Romeo and Juliet.
Period 3:
We will be continuing our reading and discussion of The Great Gatsby. If you are absent, you will miss both reading and potentially viewing of the movie. Plan to stay after school to make this up as needed.
Due Wed. 5/3: Writing Assignment for chapters 3 and 4 (20 points); 10 point mini-graded discussion on these chapters Wednesday.
Due Thursday: 4 Symbols in chart for chapter 5 (finish reading chapter 5)
Due Friday 5/12: Crucible essay review. 1) Meet with a writing tutor in the Writing Center, me, Mrs. DiBenetto, or your resource teacher and review your essay. 3) Have them sign the essay and write down what you would need to do to improve (what you learned from the conference). (40 points)
