Period 1: Introduction into English II. Course expectations, rules, and grading procedure are discussed. Journaling introduced.

• Single subject notebook needed by Friday, 9/6.
• Quotation poster (roughly the size of a piece of computer paper) due Monday 9/9.
• PHOTO DAY for this class is 9/9. Students will be going during English.
• Summer reading must be submitted by Monday, 9/9 or will receive a zero as a major quiz grade.
• Grammar Diagnostic Quiz will take place on Friday, 9/6.

Periods 3 and 5: Introduction into Expository Writing expectations and coursework. "Know for Sure" essay assigned. Essay is due Wednesday, 9/11.
