Periods 1 and 4: Read "The Devil and Daniel Webster" by Stephen Vincent Benet and complete the take home "quiz" assignment. This is due Tuesday (period 1) and Wednesday (period 4). We will be transitioning to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn starting Thursday.

Periods 3 and 5: Working on Description/Example technique. Objective Description Assignment due Tuesday, 10/8. Rough Draft of Description Main Essay due Thursday 10/10 (Period 3) and Friday 10/11 (Period 5).
Period 7: Declaration of Independence work due Monday 9/30. Grammar Quiz Retake Tuesday 10/1. We will be transitioning to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn this week. Banned Book Webquest will be started in class on Wednesday and finished for homework for Friday. Books will be passed out on Friday.
