Reminder: SBAC Testing will be ongoing for periods 1-4 Tuesday through Friday. There will not be any computer labs or printers available for student use during those times.
Periods 1 and 4:
The Great Gatsby Chapter 2 due Monday (bring your responses to the questions for chapter 1 and chapter 2 both to class).
We will be reading Chapter 3 and discussing thematic elements in the novel through Wednesday.
Chapter 3 questions are due Wednesday (Period 1) or Thursday (Period 4). We will be completing a sophomore assessment beginning Friday and going into next week.
Periods 3 and 5:
Argument/Research Source Summaries due Tuesday in class. We will be beginning a mini-project on the documentary Freakonomics at that time.
Rough draft for your Cause/Effect Research essay is due on Wednesday 4/2. This must include your works cited page as well as your essay.
Period 7:
We will be finishing the protest writing assignment Tuesday and will be making the transition into The Great Gatsby this week.
