Weeks of Jan 5 through Jan 16

Reminder: I am still unable to check email from my home computer so some delays in response may occur.


Period 1: Students are completing The Crucible Act 3 in class Wed-Friday. Character chart for Acts 1 and 2 is due Wednesday. As we read Act 3, students will be completing a 4 question study guide.

Act 4 will be due Monday Jan 12.

We will be preparing for the midterm once we have completed the play. In preparation, students should gather all past assignments, worksheets, notes, and quotations that they have for all past books we have read.




Period 2: Speeches/Presentations begin on Monday Jan. 12. This will be the final grade for the marking period. Students will be told Friday Jan 16 if they are exempt from the exam.




Period 4: Students will be reading Chapters 7 and 8 of the Scarlet Letter for Thursday. Chapters 9-12 will be due before the exam. In preparation, students should gather all past assignments, worksheets, notes, and quotations that they have for all past books we have read.




Period 5: Students should be focusing on finishing their tutor/self analysis project write ups. If students have not yet tutored or observed there will be opportunity Jan 7-9 if all works out with a collaboration with Ms. McCann's class.
