Period 1:
As of Friday, we are through all but the last 3 pages of chapter 2. The independent reading assignment has been assigned, and the first two responses are due Monday 3/9. We will be setting up the blogs for these online responses on Wednesday in the room 107 computer lab. Otherwise we will be continuing in our reading of The Great Gatsby.
Period 4:
We are transitioning to our reading of The Great Gatsby and have begun chapter 1. The rough draft of the Transcendentalism essay is due on Monday 3/2. The final draft of the essay is due on Monday 3/9.
Period 5: Final Draft of Narrative essay is due on Tuesday 3/3. Submit to turnitin.com by 11:59 pm Tuesday evening and bring in a printout with the rough draft and assignment sheet Thursday. We will be signing up for turnitin.com on Monday and transitioning to Comparison/Contrast writing Tuesday.
Period 7: Final Draft of Narrative essay is due Wednesday 3/4. Submit to turnitin.com by 11:59 pm Wednesday evening and bring in a printout with the rough draft and assignment sheet Thursday. We will be signing up for turnitin.com on Monday and transitioning to Comparison/Contrast writing Wednesday
