Period 1:
Students will be working on an art project for "The Yellow Wallpaper" which will be due Thursday.
Students will be reading "A Worn Path" by Eudora Welty as well and beginning poems by Robert Frost.
As of Tuesday, MyPaymentsPlus is open for the Romeo and Juliet Field trip for the next couple of days but won't be open much longer!
Period 3:
Essay final draft due Monday.

Period 5:
Due Monday: Finish Question Set 3 quotations for pages 31-75. Finish any unread chapters and keep notes on themes developing in chapters.
Students will begin working on their essay assignment for The House on Mango Street in-class and continue this work tracking themes at home as we continue reading. Notes will be checked in addition to the packet questions being answered by students.
Period 6:
Working on Narrative Writing. Reading samples of narrative essays and beginning to formulate topic ideas Tuesday. Topic due by Thursday.
Period 7:
Reading sections of The Longman's Guide to Peer Tutoring and other articles as we finish our unit on tutors as writers. Narrative of history as a writer is due Friday Oct. 2nd.
