Week of 3/14 through 3/18

Periods 1 and 3:

Viewing Romeo and Juliet student productions and then watching the movie in preparation for the final essay on interpretation and transformation of Shakespeare to modern audiences.

Period 5:

Finished with the play as of Friday 3/11. Working on final Romeo and Juliet project/essay analyzing common inspiration/themes in the endings of two movie interpretations and one painting.

Period 6:

Annotated bibliographies due Tuesday 3/15. Peer editing/reviewing research Tuesday. Working on rough draft of cause/effect research essay the rest of the week. Rough draft  (with research, citations, and works cited page) is due Tuesday 3/22.

Final draft will be due on 3/30.



Period 7:

Discussion of Freakonomics research project Monday (research project due at this time). Topics and planning for cause/effect research essay. Working in computer lab this week in preparation for annotated bibliography for essay, due Tuesday 3/22.

Rough draft of essay (with research and citations and works cited page) due 4/1.
